02 - Whisk milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl until fully combined and smooth.
03 - Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined; batter will remain slightly lumpy. Do not overmix.
04 - Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with additional butter.
05 - Pour batter into heart-shaped mold or shape with spoon. Cook until bubbles form on surface, approximately 2 minutes. Flip and cook 1–2 minutes until golden brown.
06 - Repeat with remaining batter, greasing pan as needed between batches.
