Sweet, chewy fruit leather made with real fruit. No preservatives—just pure fruity goodness.

# What You Need:

→ Fruit Base

01 - 3 cups fresh or frozen fruit (strawberries, mango, raspberries, blueberries, peaches, or a mix)
02 - 2-3 tbsp honey, maple syrup, or agave syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
03 - 1 tbsp lemon juice

# How-To Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 170°F or set dehydrator to 135°F. Line rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone mat.
02 - Combine fruit, sweetener if using, and lemon juice in blender or food processor. Blend until completely smooth.
03 - Pour fruit puree onto prepared baking sheet. Use spatula to spread into even layer about 1/8-inch thick.
04 - Place baking sheet in oven or dehydrator. Dry for 4-6 hours until puree is no longer sticky and peels away easily from liner.
05 - Remove from oven and cool completely. Peel fruit leather from liner and transfer to cutting board. Cut into strips using sharp knife or scissors.
06 - Roll each strip in parchment paper to prevent sticking. Store in airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • You control exactly what goes into them no weird additives or artificial colors hiding in the ingredients list
  • The flavor difference is shocking when you start with actual ripe fruit instead of fruit concentrates and fillers
02 -
  • Spread the puree thinner than feels right thick spots stay tacky and never fully dry while thin parts become perfect chewy leather
  • Mixing softer fruits like peaches with some applesauce helps them set better without needing extra drying time
03 -
  • The center takes longest to dry so rotate your baking sheet halfway through if you notice the edges drying faster
  • If your oven runs hot prop the door open slightly with a wooden spoon to maintain that low steady temperature
