# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The combination of hot crispy fries and cool sour cream creates this incredible temperature contrast that keeps every bite interesting
  • You can customize these a million ways but the classic version hits all the right notes without being overly complicated
02 -
  • Work quickly once the fries come out the second time because the cheese starts setting up fast and you want it gooey
  • Don't overload the fries with toppings before baking or the cheese won't melt properly
03 -
  • Pre-cook your bacon until extra crispy and store it in the fridge so you're ready to make these at a moment's notice
  • If serving a crowd make two separate smaller trays instead of one giant one so everyone gets some of the crispy edge fries
